This Multinautic hot-dipped galvanized steel back plate is used to spread the pressure of bolts installed with stationary dock hinges, leg holders and small reinforcement dock corners. It also prevents bolt heads, nuts or lock washers from pulling into the wood. It protects the wood and extends the life of the dock.
